Life as we knew it has changed; prior to March 2020 people lived their lives not “chained to a mask.”

Today, six months later, worldwide scientific efforts have not produced a vaccine for the Covid 19 virus.

The pandemic today is much the same as the 1918 influenza pandemic; better known in the scientific communities as the H1N1 virus. It is “estimated 500 million people became infected with the virus; or, one-third of the world’s population became infected with the H1N1 virus.”

According to the NEW YORK TIMES World Map: Tracking the Global Outbreak worldwide 35,005,700 people have become ill because of Covid 19
and when you google deaths, 1.4 million have died.

Should you be afraid?

“Yes!”

It’s difficult to take this pandemic seriously when the President of the United States doesn’t believe this is a pandemic and never wears a mask Not a good example.

I find that interesting!

Worldwide, people are dropping like flies. That should have been a clue that something is wrong!

President Trump is not immune to this virus. It was reported on the national news the President and First Lady, Melania Trump tested positive for Covid 19 virus.

Some of the greatest scientific minds are working around the clock to find an antidote for the Covid 19 virus.

It just hasn’t happened, yet!

After being hospitalized for three days at Walter Reed Military Hospital for
Covid 19, President Trump still makes light of a serious situation.

This is an election year, will this help or hurt his chance of being re-elected?

Time will tell.

To be continued….

DEAD … BUT NOT FORGOTTEN

Many have written about this real-life migrant journey; the Donner-Reed Party. Fact or fiction, the mystique that surrounds these early pioneers’ journey to California, continues to captivate today. One hundred seventy four years ago, a wagon train set out from Independence, Missouri to California, approximately 2,500 miles. The journey should have taken about four or five months.
When you hear the name Donner Pass, the first thing that comes to mind is “cannibalism.” …
